Once again Happie Nuts makes me love it more (pic spam)

I suppose you would call the looks in Happie Nuts "oneegyaru" but in my eyes and mind I call it the "fly ass bitch look!" LOL LOL

Also as I mentioned in my post that there is an anime convention that I'm going to tomorrow in St.Louis called AnimeSTL. I'm going to be in the Japanese fashion show there w/ a bunch of my friends. I will be in the gal section and wearing oneegal attire. Right now I'm freaking out about what to wear >w< I wanna look as good as those models in Happie Nuts (minus the photoshop lol).

School and conventions don't mix (mini rant)

When April comes around I call it con season b/c thats when I start my convention going.  Last year I went to three almost back to back but that was b/c they spread out pretty nicely.  Well no such luck this year.

First off my school decides to push back the date for when we get out.  Which means we get out earlier which is awesome and terrible at the same time.  By getting out earlier it gives me less time to pull up grades!  And I can use all the time in the world right now for that!  This also means more finals bunched together! ToT

Second, one of the major cons I go to pushed back their date as well! So now it's the weekend after another con that I usually attend!  So now I had to cut one of the cons and just attend two.  Aaaanndd I won't have my cosplays done for one of the cons (which happens to be this friday!) I guess I'm glad that at least I will have my cosplays done before the bigger con though.  I'm not upset over not cosplaying at the smaller con.

I don't know if you guys understand, but trying to make costumes and do homework AND study for finals is hard as shit.  I know school is more important and it comes first but I have the worst sense when it comes to priorities!  uuugghhh I know I should concentrate on school work but that unsewn fabric is calling my name! -cries- This is why I'm mainly upset at this year b/c I feel like everything is being rushed.  If I slow down for a sec I will be behind on everything!

But to fill you all in on what cosplays I'm doing, I will be two hopefully. The one I know for sure I will have done will be Coco Macne Black from Macloids. Macloids are basically vocaloids specifically for mac computers.

I have the scarf done, the wig, the boots and the garter belt but what I don't have made yet is the dress. And I fear I won't have time to finish it b/c I'm still working on Coco ToT Imma cross my fingers lol.

I guess I never mentioned but the bigger con that I speak of that I can't wait to go to is called Anime Central a.k.a Acen and it's held in Chicago. I booked my own room this year and my roomies are my bestie Lori and my good friends Lisha, Tomo and Jax....also my bf will be staying in my room as well. This will be tomo's first con by the way and I know she will have a blast! Tomo will also be cosplaying there as Jinx the pokemon lol. I'm really looking forward to this con b/c last year I had a TERRIBLE time! I don't even feel like talking about it, just know I was pissed most of the time I was there. Shit went  all kinds of wrong. BUT this year shall be it's redemption! >8D I plan on taking a shit load of pics and I can't wait to blog about it!

New Pink lenses! (not really a review...just showing)

I meant to post about this two weeks ago but I got so excited and only posted about them on fb and tumblr. I totally forgot about making a blog post!

Well most have already seen my new lenses but just so I can hurry up and make this post I will have other posts ready. I feel like I need to get this out lol.

Also w/ all the worry about circle lenses fucking people's eyes up I was really nervous about getting my lenses. I already have bad vision so I don't need anything making me completely blind. Hopefully since they are prescription they would have been taken care of more and not defective. I've worn them once already and so far no problems v.v

Oh! The lenses are called EOS New Adult Pink. I got these for two cosplays I'm doing b/c both characters have pink eyes. Little did I know that I would really love the color on me!

My spring break and self pic spam

Ok so I'm back in Chicago now but last week was my spring break and I was around family and friends  24 /7! It was good to see everyone again and it was good to sleep in MY room again.

I didn't really do too much exciting besides hanging with friends and what not. And even then we just chilled out at my place or theirs. But we did go to the movies! We "The Hunger Games"! I personally thought it was a good movie and I plan on reading the books as well. I need to know what else happens in the story! @0@

During my spring break week I was supposed to do an interview w/ Chaudalyn a.k.a Chaudie. I got online ready to do the interview and then my internet connection decides to crap out on me! I got all pretty and shit for nothing ToT I don't blame anything on Chaudalyn for we tried multiple times to get my connection to work but nothing came through. So I guess we are planning to do the interview again some other time.

I didn't want my make to go to waste sooooo I decided to be a cam whore (like always lol) and get some pics of myself to share! ALSO you will get to see my new hair! I went for the short bob look this time!

Oh man where do I start?
Well basically school has been kicking my ass again. I'm always putting on this happy face as if nothing is affecting me. I'm trying so hard right now to not revert back into my depressive state which I was in two semesters ago. Every time I feel like I've lost I automatically give up. This time I can't really do that. For the sake of my education and my family...and my self worth.

I was given two options by a counselor two semesters ago. Either I get my act together and bring my grades up or get kicked out of the school. Some ultimatum yeah? -sigh- At the beginning of this semester I was fine. As the time went on I started to resent a certain class and the teacher and then my "not caring" attitude bleed over to my other classes. As of right now I know my grade in two of my classes look horrendous .  I've already told myself after spring break I'm going to be on top of everything! I don't know how many times I've said I was going to do that but I can't stop saying to myself now or I won't even try!

One of classes that I have been having the most trouble in, I'm worried about. It's not necessarily the work but the teacher. She is very forward, condescending and intimidating. It's so obvious she doesn't like me. Just by looking in her eyes you can almost tell what she's thinking of me; "I don't know why you are here. Please drop out of my class you nit wit." I know that seems harsh but I swear the way she acts around me is as if I've cursed her out or talked about her mother. Yes I realize I don't always have my homework turned in but is that really a good reason to act like a bitch towards someone? Obviously I'm struggling why won't she just talk to me? I would go talk to her myself but I'm afraid she might say something bitchy and just push me to the side. I'm not the only one who feels this way though. She chews everyone out in class...no one is safe. Even her favorites get told off from time to time. I would of dropped out by now like so many other students have done already but I only have four classes. Which means I'm worried if I won't have enough credits to be considered a full time student for my financial aid. But I'm also thinking since I have already received my financial aid they can't take it away now right? I dunno...I guess I need to talk to a counselor again about that. Honestly, b/c of this teacher she makes me feel like I'm stupid...like I have nothing of worth to say so I should leave. I feel like crying after that class every time. I know that I am smart and little does she know that half that shit she talks about in class I'm already fucking aware of. That's right bitch! I'm smart,  cultured and well rounded thanks to my parents and friends...NOT YOU! >8(

Well anyway basically school is stressful and I'm trying to push through. I'm sorry for ranting on here. I know you guys would rather see something more uplifting and fun but I needed to get this off my chest.

New nails! (and pics)

Last Friday night me and Lisha decided to do some nail art! I don't have any pics of her nail art but I think you can find her nail pics on her blog or on her Facebook. We did them before we went out on Saturday night.

Now Saturday night we had a plan of hanging out at the karaoke lounge in Chinatown but apparently they started carding people at 9:30 p.m. and we had two girls w/ us (Tomo and Sam) who weren't 21 so we couldn't get in!. Of course we were pissed off but we didn't let that stop us! We went out to eat and then went to a friend's apartment and got drunk there lol lol. I didn't take any pics of that and I'm glad I didn't lol.

You can't really tell but on the pink nails there is glitter on the tips.

What I changed from this was I put white cross hatching w/ rhinestones on the thumb and glitter on the tips of the other pink nails. Although this chicks silver/glittery nail is shinier than mine.

These are probably my favorite nail design I've done so far. I can't wait to make more!!
