Acen 2012! (pic heavy)

Over the weekend a convention in Chicago happened called Anime Central a.k.a Acen. I have been going there for four years now. And needless to say I had a fuckin blast this year! Even though I would of liked to have money to spend on my nerdy obsessions ToT Aaannndd next year I plan on getting a hotel thats right across the street. I'm not doing the whole wait and take a shuttle thing again. That was a pain. I also didn't get my cosplays done in time. I was so hyped up for them T.T I had half of my Coco Macne cosplay done and all I needed was my corset. I had a friend making the corset for me and she couldn't get it done in time. I plan on doing a lot of cosplay making over the summer. I need to stop procrastinating. But anyway...like I said, I managed to have a good time and I some pics to show you all!

Also as I mentioned in my post that there is an anime convention that I'm going to tomorrow in St.Louis called AnimeSTL. I'm going to be in the Japanese fashion show there w/ a bunch of my friends. I will be in the gal section and wearing oneegal attire. Right now I'm freaking out about what to wear >w< I wanna look as good as those models in Happie Nuts (minus the photoshop lol).

School and conventions don't mix (mini rant)

When April comes around I call it con season b/c thats when I start my convention going.  Last year I went to three almost back to back but that was b/c they spread out pretty nicely.  Well no such luck this year.

First off my school decides to push back the date for when we get out.  Which means we get out earlier which is awesome and terrible at the same time.  By getting out earlier it gives me less time to pull up grades!  And I can use all the time in the world right now for that!  This also means more finals bunched together! ToT

Second, one of the major cons I go to pushed back their date as well! So now it's the weekend after another con that I usually attend!  So now I had to cut one of the cons and just attend two.  Aaaanndd I won't have my cosplays done for one of the cons (which happens to be this friday!) I guess I'm glad that at least I will have my cosplays done before the bigger con though.  I'm not upset over not cosplaying at the smaller con.

I don't know if you guys understand, but trying to make costumes and do homework AND study for finals is hard as shit.  I know school is more important and it comes first but I have the worst sense when it comes to priorities!  uuugghhh I know I should concentrate on school work but that unsewn fabric is calling my name! -cries- This is why I'm mainly upset at this year b/c I feel like everything is being rushed.  If I slow down for a sec I will be behind on everything!

But to fill you all in on what cosplays I'm doing, I will be two hopefully. The one I know for sure I will have done will be Coco Macne Black from Macloids. Macloids are basically vocaloids specifically for mac computers.

I have the scarf done, the wig, the boots and the garter belt but what I don't have made yet is the dress. And I fear I won't have time to finish it b/c I'm still working on Coco ToT Imma cross my fingers lol.

I guess I never mentioned but the bigger con that I speak of that I can't wait to go to is called Anime Central a.k.a Acen and it's held in Chicago. I booked my own room this year and my roomies are my bestie Lori and my good friends Lisha, Tomo and Jax....also my bf will be staying in my room as well. This will be tomo's first con by the way and I know she will have a blast! Tomo will also be cosplaying there as Jinx the pokemon lol. I'm really looking forward to this con b/c last year I had a TERRIBLE time! I don't even feel like talking about it, just know I was pissed most of the time I was there. Shit went  all kinds of wrong. BUT this year shall be it's redemption! >8D I plan on taking a shit load of pics and I can't wait to blog about it!

New Pink lenses! (not really a review...just showing)

I meant to post about this two weeks ago but I got so excited and only posted about them on fb and tumblr. I totally forgot about making a blog post!

Well most have already seen my new lenses but just so I can hurry up and make this post I will have other posts ready. I feel like I need to get this out lol.

Also w/ all the worry about circle lenses fucking people's eyes up I was really nervous about getting my lenses. I already have bad vision so I don't need anything making me completely blind. Hopefully since they are prescription they would have been taken care of more and not defective. I've worn them once already and so far no problems v.v

Oh! The lenses are called EOS New Adult Pink. I got these for two cosplays I'm doing b/c both characters have pink eyes. Little did I know that I would really love the color on me!

My spring break and self pic spam

Ok so I'm back in Chicago now but last week was my spring break and I was around family and friends  24 /7! It was good to see everyone again and it was good to sleep in MY room again.

I didn't really do too much exciting besides hanging with friends and what not. And even then we just chilled out at my place or theirs. But we did go to the movies! We "The Hunger Games"! I personally thought it was a good movie and I plan on reading the books as well. I need to know what else happens in the story! @0@

During my spring break week I was supposed to do an interview w/ Chaudalyn a.k.a Chaudie. I got online ready to do the interview and then my internet connection decides to crap out on me! I got all pretty and shit for nothing ToT I don't blame anything on Chaudalyn for we tried multiple times to get my connection to work but nothing came through. So I guess we are planning to do the interview again some other time.

I didn't want my make to go to waste sooooo I decided to be a cam whore (like always lol) and get some pics of myself to share! ALSO you will get to see my new hair! I went for the short bob look this time!
